Production Introduction


BWFCPC-Q2176 adopts Bravo’s flexible licensing mechanism for scrambling function and numbers of QAM channels. This flexibility can provide a lower capital expenditure (CAPEX) in initial phase and better asset protection in network expansion stage to DTV operators. Due to its flexibility and versatility, BWFCPC-Q2176 can be widely applied to DTV head-end system, in different areas, depending on operators requirements, such as cable DTV head-end, sub head-end, or broadcasting center.


BWFCPC-Q2176 is a high quality IP multiplexer, scrambler and QAM modulator. Customers are easily to configure their front-end QAM modulator system that BWFCPC-Q9000 is high density and BWFCPC-Q2176 are for low density. However, BWFCPC-Q2176 also support mixed transmission program streams and data, and makes fault channel isolation that means when one SPTS input fails, the other multiplexed channel programs output normally.
