Production Introduction
Bravo’s BWFCPC-Q2224 is a new generation of modular & high density IPQAM combining TS-over-UDP/RTP input and output, transport stream re-multiplexing, scrambling, PSI/SI processing and 16/32/64/128/256 QAM modulation in an 1RU. It supports up to 224 QAM modulation channels by using Five external pluggable 32 QAM channel modules, each QAM module supporting up to Four GE interfaces. Moreover, BWFCPC-Q2224 supports 1+1 redundant & hot-swappable power supplies for high reliability and overall stability of the system. Its pay-as-you-grow modular design, flexible configuration and licensing mechanism are making the BWFCPC-Q2224 extremely scalable, very reliable with high performance, all of which are important to cable operators.
The BWFCPC-Q2224 supports Web browser and SNMP management with remote monitoring and control that can greatly reduce management time and operating expenses (OPEX) of operators.
BWFCPC-Q2224 is a high quality IP multiplexer, scrambler and QAM modulator. Customers are easily to configure their front-end QAM modulator system that BWFCPC-Q9000 is high density and BWFCPC-Q2224 are for low density. However, BWFCPC-Q2224 also support mixed transmission program streams and data, and makes fault channel isolation that means when one SPTS input fails, the other multiplexed channel programs output normally.
