Production Introduction
BWFCPC-Q2240 is a new generation of modular & high density IPQAM combining TS-over-UDP/RTP input and output, transport stream re-multiplexing, scrambling, PSI/SI processing and 16/32/64/128/256 QAM modulation in an 1RU. It supports up to 224 QAM modulation channels by using Five external pluggable 32 QAM channel modules, each QAM module supporting up to Four GE interfaces. Moreover, BWFCPC-Q2224 supports 1+1 redundant & hot-swappable power supplies for high reliability and overall stability of the system. Its pay-as-you-grow modular design, flexible configuration and licensing mechanism are making the BWFCPC-Q2224 extremely scalable, very reliable with high performance, all of which are important to cable operators.
The BWFCPC-Q2224 is a new generation, high density and edge IPQAM modulator. Adopting advanced technology, and high reliability, flexibility, customization unified platform, it is widely used in the digital TV broadcast, VOD and value-added services. BWFCPC-Q2224 can output 240 frequency point QAM signal, and it can be deployed in central node, edge node and community fiber aggregation site.
BWFCPC-Q2224 receives transport stream from CDN or video server by Gigabit port, then retrieves specific transport stream, after multiplex, scramble, PCR correcting, modulation, output signal to HFC network by RF port finally.

VOD Service :
In the VOD application, BWFCPC-Q2224 is used to receive IP streams generated from a VOD server and then modulates them in QAM for transmission through HFC network.
Network Distribution :
The BWFCPC-Q2224 enables an operator to build a remote headend in an efficient and cost-effective way. The BWFCPC-Q2224 receives the programs from the master headend via IP, then multi- plexes and modulates the channels to the available QAM frequencies for local distribution. Compared to traditional local headend, BWFCPC-Q2224 can substantially reduces the number. for headends needed and generates savings in large deployments.
