BWFCPC-81 Series encoder, from BWFCPC-8100 to BWFCPC-8136 , is market leading multi-channel encoder and transcoder. It provides up to 22 channels ASI of superior quality video using either H.264/MPEG-2 encoding and its high performance significantly enhances bandwidth efficiency. Univiso’s expertise and market leadership, the BWFCPC-81 series encoder has proven itself as the most easy-to-use encoding platform for Cable, Satellite, IPTV or Terrestrial applications available today.
With the number of channel increasing fast, DTV operators require the ability to have a multi-channel transcoding solution to simplify their headend architecture and to reduce the amount of headend equipment needed. To achieve this, they need products able to deal with multi-channel MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC video streams.
Bravo’s BWFCPC-8129 is a new generation of modular & high density SD video and audio conversion unit with best-in-class video quality. It supports MPEG-2/MPEG-4 AVC SD live video and audio services transcoding with IP in and out by using six external pluggable transcoding modules for broadcast and Over-The-Top(OTT) applications.

Audio Processing
The BWFCPC-8129 offers advanced integrated noise reduction capabilities, including Univiso’s signature motion-compensated temporal filtering (MCTF). It also includes an adaptive deblocking and mosquito noise reduction filter designed to attenuate compression artifacts that may be present in the video source. A sharpening filter can also enhance the appearance of incoming material. These same technical foundations support powerful deinterlacing to cleanly deliver progressive formats.
