BWFCPC-81 Series encoder, from BWFCPC-8100 to BWFCPC-8136 , is market leading multi-channel encoder and transcoder. It provides up to 22 channels ASI of superior quality video using either H.264/MPEG-2 encoding and its high performance significantly enhances bandwidth efficiency. Bravo’s expertise and market leadership, the BWFCPC-81 series encoder has proven itself as the most easy-to-use encoding platform for Cable, Satellite, IPTV or Terrestrial applications available today.
Univiso’s BWFCPC-8130 line of products provide a cost-effective and space-efficient solution for digital transmission and/or insertion applications. The fully integrated wall or rack mount “single unit” line of products are ideal for inserting security camera video into MDUs, inserting barker or information channels into hotels and other commercial properties, for digital simulcast applications, and for digital delivery of PEG or hub site specific programming. Their hardened form factors combined with fully integrated demodulation and RF digital channel filtering make the BWFCPC-8130 product lines unique choices for “add/drop” digital program replacement applications.

Preprocessing
The BWFCPC-8130 offers advanced integrated noise reduction capabilities, including Bravo’s signature motion-compensated temporal filtering (MCTF). It also includes an adaptive deblocking and mosquito noise reduction filter designed to attenuate compression artifacts that may be present in the video source. A sharpening filter can also enhance the appearance of incoming material. These same technical foundations support powerful deinterlacing to cleanly deliver progressive formats.
