BWDVBS-8028 With an advanced and dense multichannel descrambler, the BWDVBS-8028 simplifies the deployment of (or migration to) an all-IP headend solution and powers the launch of added-value services. The flexible hardware design is easily reconfigured with firmware upgrades, enabling seamless adaptation to new inbound video formats and codecs, such as MPEG-4 AVC and HEVC.
 
BWDVBS-8028 Series HD IRD can decode TS signals from ASI, tuner (DVB-C/DVB-S/ DVB-T/DVB-S2/ISDB-T optional) or IP sources into audio and video signal. The device supports up to 1080i HD decoding and H.264 compressing standard, which is also compatible with MPEG-2. Moreover, it supports ISDB multiplexing function. After multiplexing the TS signals from tuner, ASI and IP sources according to the ISDB-T standard, then output ASI or IP (UDP) signals. Furthermore, it is equipped with CI decrypt descramble module, support multiple CA, LCD display in front panel and SNMP NMS.

The BWDVBS-8027 performs any-to-any transcoding of up to eight channels of H.264 to MPEG-2, allowing programmers to efficiently distribute superior-quality video content while using minimal satellite transponder capacity. Bravo’s unique deterministic SFN remultiplexing (DSR) technology saves up to 90% of satellite or IP bandwidth and increases architecture flexibility in regional DVB-T SFN distribution networks.
