BWDVBS-8027 With an advanced and dense multichannel descrambler, the BWDVBS-8025 simplifies the deployment of (or migration to) an all-IP headend solution and powers the launch of added-value services. The flexible hardware design is easily reconfigured with firmware upgrades, enabling seamless adaptation to new inbound video formats and codecs, such as MPEG-4 AVC and HEVC.
 
BWDVBS-8027 HD IRD is the industry’s single-rack-unit, scalable, multiformat integrated receiver-decoder (IRD), transcoder and MPEG stream processor. Leveraging Bravo expertise in Intelligent Function Integration, Its video/audio outputs support professional HD/SD-SDI, YPbPr, HDMI, stereo balanced audio, stereo unbalanced audio and S/PDIF digital audio and CVBS, which can greatly satisfy the professional users’ needs. With the CAM/CI slot, BWDVBS-8027 can support one channel (Tuner, ASI or IP) de-scrambling and give transparent signal output. User can operate the device by using front panel LCD or NMS/SNMP software or Webpage-based NMS. Moreover, users can choose to have an optional ASI output which can pass through the encryption data source directly from tuner.

Versatile Capabilities, Reduced Bandwidth Requirements

The BWDVBS-8027 performs any-to-any transcoding of up to eight channels of H.264 to MPEG-2, allowing programmers to efficiently distribute superior-quality video content while using minimal satellite transponder capacity. Bravo’s unique deterministic SFN remultiplexing (DSR) technology saves up to 90% of satellite or IP bandwidth and increases architecture flexibility in regional DVB-T SFN distribution networks.
